Police investigating a murder in Rugby town centre are appealing for two taxi drivers to contact them.

Kevin Wright, 20, of the Bilton area of the town, died after he was stabbed during the early hours of Monday. His brother and uncle were also injured.

A police spokesman said he needed to speak to the taxi drivers, and anyone who used a taxi which was parked in Regent Street or Church Street.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody.

Det Insp Pete Hill said he wanted to thank people who had already come forward but still needed to speak to people who were in that area between 0200 and 0300 BST.
